We collect as little as the directory needs to work, and we explain each piece here.
Browsing the directory
You can read every listing, guide and location page without an account. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and the site does not run an analytics service. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and reliability.
Claim, suggestion and correction requests
When you submit the form on our claim page, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, the listing concerned, the source links you provide, your message and, for ownership claims, your role and the evidence of your connection to the business. We use this information only to review the request, check the sources and contact you about it. Submissions are delivered to our private review inbox, by email or a secure review system, and are not published. To prevent abuse, the form briefly records a one-way hash of your IP address to limit repeated submissions.
How long we keep requests
Request details are kept while a request is under review and for as long afterwards as is reasonably needed to record why a listing changed or a claim was accepted or declined. You can ask us to delete a request you submitted at any time.
Business information in listings
Listings contain public business information, such as a storefront name, address and official website, taken from the sources shown on each profile. If you represent a listed business and want details corrected or removed, use the correction form.
Third-party links and maps
Profiles link to operators’ own websites and to map searches. Those services have their own privacy practices, which apply once you leave this site.
Advertising
Some pages reserve space for advertising. No advertising scripts are active today. If ads are enabled later, this policy will be updated before launch to name the provider, describe any cookies it uses and explain your consent choices.
